Wiki Loves Earth 2017 in Nepal

Wikipedia is organizing its fifth annual Wiki Loves Earth photography competition. The international competition is organized during the month of May, with the aim of promoting natural heritage sites globally. This competition first began on 2013 and has been held for four consecutive years. Nepal has been participating in it for the last three years which has certainly helped promote the heritages. Like all the other years, this competition is scheduled from May 1 to May 31. The results of the competition are to be disclosed on the June 10 by awarding the top three photographers with certain cash prizes. The cash prizes are 15,000 NPR, 10,000 NPR, and 5,000 NPR, for the first, second and third position, respectively. The process of participating in the competition is very simple and open to all the professional and passionate photographers.  Before you upload your photograph for the competition, you must register with your basic information. Then, you have to upload your photo/s with a proper name and share the photo/s on social media platform with hashtags: #WLENepal #WLE2017. The few conditions of the competitions are as follows:
  • All entries must be your own work.
  • All photos must be uploaded by May 2017
  • All photos must be licensed CC BY-SA 4.0
  • Participants must have an active email account.
