“You must pre-live the future, not re-live the past and savor the moment.”

Can you briefly tell us about yourself? I am Samjhana Pokhrel currently residing at Maligaun, Kathmandu. I am originally from from Biratnagar, Morang. What are your hobbies and your interests? I don’t have a lot of time for hobbies but I do love singing and playing Guitar in my leisure time. I love traveling and visiting new places as well. Could you tell us about your educational background? I passed my S.L.C from Don Bosco (Nilgiri) and +2 Level from Public Higher Secondary in Science stream from Biratnagar. After that I completed by Bachelor’s Degree in Information Management from College of Applied Business (CAB), Kathmandu. How did you come to join the DWIT family? Actually after getting my bachelor’s degree I was searching for a steady job and one day, my brothers told me about a vacant spot here in DWIT. I came to visit and immediately took the job.   How has the experience been so far? Hardest part about the job? Every job is difficult in its own sense. When we were students, learning and passing our exams was very difficult. Most people have the feeling that after finishing our studies, life will become easier but that is not the case for everyone. So, my job is also pretty tough but it’s a really good feeling to be a part of the DWIT family. Hence I have thoroughly enjoyed my time here so far. Where do you see yourself in 5 years’ time? My goal right now is to find a good, respectable position in DWIT. However, in 5 years of time I would like to see myself pursuing my PHD degree.   Proudest moment of your life so far?

Our parents make uncountable number of sacrifice to raise us. So it’s always an amazing feeling to make them proud of who you are and through the things you’ve done. The proudest moment of my life was when I was Grade Ten when I became a distinction holder in SLC. It was an amazing feeling to see my parents happy.
