DeerCoders Season Nine Comes to an End

DeerCoders season 9 came to an end on Jan. 3. It is a weekly coding competition organized by the DWIT Software Club to test the coding knowledge of the participants within the given time frame. DeerCode was back after two years. However, season 9 was successfully conducted in spite of the long break. This session was held for four weeks comprising of one session per week. There was a total of eight participants from Class of 2019. DeerCoder season 9 ended with the session 4 which was the interview session. The objective of the interview session is to check the knowledge of the participants of the algorithm, flowchart, and code that they had written in the previous sessions. Participants were interviewed based on their performance of the three previous sessions. According to the software club, the score from the session 4 will be given the highest priority. The interview session was facilitated by Sabin Pathak '18. The overall winner of the DeerCoder season 9 will be announced on Friday. The final result will be declared on the basis of the performance of the participants in each session.

DeerCoders had been discontinued as there were more of multiple choice questions rather than the coding sessions. However, the club has made some significant changes starting this season in order to meet the expectations of the participants. On the good note, this season was concluded as expected. DWIT News would like to congratulate all the participants for the successful completion of this session.
