Social Service Club has always been amenable about their events. Their events are creative and are always dedicated to some beneficial cause. Social Service Club came up with yet another lively event where they showed the movie "Bahubali 2" to the children of orphanage located in Patan. The event was successfully held on the May 11, 2017.
“I had a very good time watching the movie with the kids. They were very happy to watch the movie. It was gratifying to see them enjoying.”, Bandana Aryal ‘20, a member of the Social Service Club.
Some of the members of the Social Service club have been doing a noble job of providing tuition to the children home in Patan. To strengthen the bond with the kids and to entertain them they decided to host this event. The members had originally decided to show some documentaries but the kids preferred to watch ‘Bahubali 2,’ the most trending movie these days. “We were planning to show some documentary to the kids but the kids insisted on Bahubali 2, so we made them watch Bahubali 2 instead,” says Bandana. The members of the club went to the children home at around 12 a.m. and started setting up for the movie.  The club members were equipped with projectors, laptops, movie files, and popcorn for snacks. After setting up, the members of the club watched the movie alongside with the kids. Everyone watching the movie had a nice time and the event was concluded at 4 p.m. The club plans on continuing with such events in the future too.
