Sajak Raj Baidhya, President of Media and Creative Arts Club
With a strong passion for media and cinematography, Sajak Raj Baidhya enjoys working for The Media and Creative Arts Club. Currently, he is the president of one of the most active clubs in DWIT. DWIT News' Aakankshya Shrestha caught up with Sajak Raj Baidhya, and had a delightful conversation. Here's a small glimpse of the same. What are the three words your family or friends would use to describe you? Foody, Lazy, Friendly - maybe. What makes you happiest? What makes me happiest may differ from time to time for me: hanging out with friends after a long day at college, going for a trail ride during term breaks, but spending time with my mom and cooking for her makes me the happiest. What things do you not like to do? I do not like to throw away the food because what I believe is if I cannot eat it at least not waste it. What was your upbringing like? My upbringing was pretty normal. Except for the part that I started going to Jatras from a really early age. Who is your personal hero? Why? I do not have any personal hero as such but I really look up to my mom. The way she handles the things in the most difficult of conditions and the way she is able to manage everything is just out of this world. I just cannot imagine how my life would be without her. What’s the one thing people always misunderstand about you? Most of the time when people see me for the very first time they find me really arrogant and someone who is just into myself but that may be true because I usually don't  like to speak first which has changed significantly after joining DWIT. What’s your greatest failure and how did you overcome it? I have not done anything big in life in which I have had to fail. So, there is no greatest failure in my life till date. Do you consider yourself extrovert or introvert? Extrovert if someone starts the conversation. Why did you choose your respective club? What motivates you to work hard for the club? I love working in media field like photography and editing, that’s why I choose The Media and Creative Arts Club. Knowing this club is the face of the college and the fact that this is where my passion is, motivates me the most. Club goals or club members? What comes first for you? For me, they are both equal. Without club members, reaching the club goals is just impossible. It may be difficult to take members and goals side by side because everyone has their own quality and it may take a time to come out- but once if they know their quality reaching to the goal is just like rolling down the hill. What kind of legacy do you want to leave? I don’t want to leave my legacy but I want to leave my team’s legacy. I want everyone who is going to join this club in the future to know, that this is the place where they can express what they want, a place to experiment.
